For more than 30 years, Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) has served as a beacon, helping to guide the county into the future by working to ensure that its economic vitality and strength continue. During that time, the familiar two-tone blue logo, underscored by waves, has been a part of the organization’s identity.
Now DCEDC is pleased to share its new look: a new logo that reflects the county’s proud maritime heritage. The logo’s beacon of light embodies what DCEDC endeavors to do in helping to ensure the continuing strength of the county’s economic ecosystem. This focus helps to keep our future vibrant, and, using best practices, it helps us to avoid hitting the rocks. In late 2018, DCEDC launched a strategic work plan that was designed to address the needs of business, including focuses on workforce attraction; and the needs of citizens, including better internet access and attainable housing. DCEDC’s team has done a tremendous job of executing the strategic work plan, and with guidance from its board of directors, intends to continue that progress toward further economic growth.
