This week’s featured pet is eight-year-old Snap. When he was brought to the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus as a stray on Jan. 14, he was not feeling his best. Thanks to their wonderful team, Snap got the care he needed and is feeling so much better. He is a cautious, yet talkative guy who likes to greet visitors with a chirp. Snap quickly warms up and leans into your hand, begging for more head scratches. Don’t mind his adorable little fangs that peek out over his bottom lip – they promise he is not a vampire. Like all cats at WHS, Snap has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, plus you get to name your own adoption fee.
The WHS Door County Campus is located at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay. The campus is open for adoptions 12-6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 12-4 pm Saturday. For more information, call 920.746.1111.
