DCHS Featured Pet: Tigra

One of the hidden treasures at the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus is Tigra; and she deserves the spotlight this week. She might be easy to pass by, but give her a chance and she will show you how special she is. Tigra is about one year old and was brought to the WHS Door County Campus as a stray in September. Once you earn her trust by being patient and gentle, she will slowly open up and encourage more ear scratches with a head bump. While you most likely will find her hiding in her cubby, the staff thinks she has a wonderful personality that she’s saving just for her new family. Tigra is available for adoption and like all cats at WHS, has already been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, plus adopters get to name their own adoption fee. Stop by during adoption hours and give her a chance to shine.

The WHS Door County Campus is located at 3475 Park Drive, across from the Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay. The campus is open for adoptions 12-6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 12-4 pm Saturday. For more information call 920.746.1111.
