DCMC & ADRC Host October Job Fair

Door County Medical Center (DCMC) and the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Door County (ADRC) invite the community to participate in their first Northeast Wisconsin Job and Resource Fair for Individuals with Disabilities, where participants can engage with area employers to learn about the resources and support that they provide to workers with disabilities. It will be held Oct. 9, 8:30 am – 1 pm. This will be the first job fair specifically designed for people with a physical, mental, cognitive and/or developmental disability in northeast Wisconsin.

“Door County Medical Center has worked hand-in-hand with the ADRC to make this event a reality,” said event organizer and DCMC exercise physiologist Adam Peronto. “We’ve had so many community partners across Door, Brown and Kewaunee County come together to support this event.”

Caleb Frostman, Wisconsin’s secretary of workforce development, will be the welcome speaker; and Bret Bicoy, president and CEO of the Door County Community Foundation, will be a keynote speaker.There is no fee to participate; a light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
