DCMC Awards $36,000 in Local Scholarships

The Door County Medical Center Auxiliary awarded $36,000 in scholarships this year to Door County and Algoma High School graduates and prior graduates who are currently enrolled in medical programs. These scholarships were awarded to applicants who are committed, passionate and caring about the medical profession and were able to articulate that passion. Each recipient received a check for $1,000. The funds used to support these scholarships come from the Auxiliary’s annual Angel Ball.
The 2018 recipients are Allison Alberts, Emily Blasie, Morgan Davister, Courtney Guilette, Lindsay Jilot, Jillian Jorns, Zoey Kohler, Sara Pabich, Hanna Pierre, Bennett Rabach, Michael Rose, Alli Spitzer, Ashley Sternard, Erin Tadych, Jennifer Vandertie, Kelsey Weddig, Khloe Williams and Karena Young.
Tuition scholarship recipients are Andrew Anderson, LaRae Bagnall, Rachel Coulthurst, Kathleen Guilette, Bailey Hanson, Helen Hecht, Mary Clare Hogan, Kathren Kaminski, Ashley Kinard-Carstens, Hanna Mallien, Olivia Miller, Annika Paulsen, Kelsey Pavlik, Ashley Pluff, Samantha Prust, Samantha Renard, Natalie Rose and Luke Spude.
