DCMC Promoting Healthy Eating During National Nutrition Month

Door County Medical Center is promoting the importance of healthful eating during National Nutrition Month in March because Americans struggle with poor eating habits, obesity and obesity-related diseases such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes and some types of cancer. Some signs of poor nutrition include issues with mental and overall health, fatigue, dry hair and fingernails, weak digestive and immune systems, and dental problems.

Because many things could cause these symptoms, talk to your doctor if any of them persist. If you do not have a primary-care physician, call 920.743.5566 or visit dcmedical.org to find a health-care professional.
