DCMM Receives Donation for New AEDs

The Sturgeon Bay Masonic Lodge, the Sturgeon Bay Order of the Eastern Star and the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation have donated $1,400 to the Door County Maritime Museum’s 2019 campaign to purchase new AEDs for its three-museum campus and a new assisted-listening system for its docent-led tours.

The three Masonic organizations choose local organizations to support through their fundraising each year. They have also donated to the Kewaunee Food Pantry, Door County Social Services, Lakeshore CAP, Destination Imagination, Clipper Zone Fitness Fund and Sevastopol Town parks.“Building better communities and stronger families is one of the tenants of Masonry,” said Lodge Master William Schafer. “The public support of our Steamboat Dinner enables much of this outreach.”
