DCMM Selects Boldt Company as Contractor for Lighthouse Tower

The Door County Maritime Museum’s (DCMM) board of directors has selected the Boldt Company as the general contractor for the Maritime Lighthouse Tower project as part of a competitive-bidding process.

“Boldt has an outstanding reputation and has been associated with several world-class projects in Door County in recent years, including the Kress Pavilion, the YMCA, Peninsula Players, Door County Medical Center and more,” said DCMM board president Bill Harder. “People associated with both the museum and these other organizations have nothing but glowing things to say about their experience working with Boldt, including their top-notch professionalism and exceptional attention to detail in their approach to projects.”The Maritime Lighthouse Tower seeks to be a place that inspires young people to consider careers in engineering, environmental sciences and maritime technologies; instills pride in the community and its maritime history; and serves as a significant economic stimulus for Sturgeon Bay and Door County.
