DCMM’s Boathouse Sidewalk Sale July 30-31

Browse through practical and decorative nautical goodies at the maritime museum’s sidewalk sale July 30-31. Submitted.

The Door County Maritime Museum (DCMM) will host a Boathouse Sidewalk Sale on July 30-31, 10 am – 4 pm; and Aug. 1, 10 am – 1 pm. It will coincide with Destination Sturgeon Bay’s July 30 sidewalk sales. Browse through the tents in the museum/Skipper Bud’s parking lot along 120 N. Madison Ave.

Items for sale include a mix of practical and decorative nautical, marine and maritime items, all donated to the museum for resale; plus a selection of merchandise from the Door County Maritime Museum’s store. 

Featured items include a 1930s Old Town vintage wooden canoe, an unfinished Swift Solo sailing skiff and an almost-finished Good Little Skiff sailing skiff donated by master woodworker Michael Doerr. 

All proceeds from the Boathouse Sidewalk Sale will support the museum’s operations and educational outreach programs. The Ranly Maritime Gallery will also have maritime artwork and models for sale.
