DCU Girls Swimmers Down Clintonville in Dual

The Door County United (DCU) cooperative girls high school swimming team remained undefeated in Bay Conference dual meets following Thursday night’s 126-27 win over Clintonville.

DCU’s top individual swimmers included Caitlyn Hasenjager of Sevastopol finishing second in the 50-yard freestyle in 27.02 seconds and first in the 100 butterfly in 1:11.71. Isabella Jimenez Seyfer of Sturgeon Bay finished first in the 100 freestyle in 1:00.69. 

DCU placed first and second in the 200 freestyle relay. The “A” relay with Isabella Jimenez Seyfer and Chloe Bissen Sturgeon Bay and Aurora Breci and Cassie Rankin Sevastopol finished in 1:54.78. The “B” relay with Caitlyn Hasenjager of Sevastopol, Natalia Michalski of Sturgeon Bay, and Danica Neville and Hannah Schley of Southern Door finished in 2:00.1.

DCU will travel to Sheboygan North High School to compete in an invitational on Saturday.
