DCVB & DCEDC Host Social Media Marketing Workshops

The Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) and the Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB) will host email and social media marketing workshops in Baileys Harbor and Sturgeon Bay on June 1 & 2. Udo Misch and Erin Bemis, representatives from NeoCloud Marketing and Constant Contact, are back in Door County for essential training for local businesses on cost-effective tools that can help business owners build and maintain strong relationships with customers through email and social media marketing. These free programs are designed to educate business owners and operators about current web trends, email newsletters and announcements, as well as advanced social media marketing.

The June 1 workshop takes place at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall from 1:30 – 4:30 pm. It will cover “The Power of the Inbox” (email marketing best practices) and “Find Time To Save Time” (advanced social media tips and tricks).

The June 2 workshop takes place at the Sturgeon Bay City Hall community room from 9 am – noon. It will cover “The Basics of Social Media” (includes a brief discussion of email marketing) and “Harness The Power of Mobile.”
