DCVB Hosts Student CTA Program

The Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB) hosted its first student-focused Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) class on March 7, in partnership with Sturgeon Bay schools.

Sturgeon Bay High School Principal Robert Nickel and Superintendent Dan Tjernagel joined 12 students from the Future Business Leaders of America organization to participate in the course, learning about customer service, business communication, the power of tourism, and Door County history and attractions.The DCVB is now accepting nominations for its 2019 CTA of the Year: an individual who consistently exceeds customers’ expectations, has a strong knowledge of the area and its attractions, and promotes the ideals of the CTA program and the Tourism Ambassador Institute. The submission deadline is April 19.
