“Dearly Departed” Presentation at Ephraim Moravian Cemetery

The Ephraim Historical Foundation and the Ephraim Moravian Church will present “Dearly Departed,” a living history of our loved ones in the Ephraim Moravian Cemetery on Aug. 26, 1 – 3 pm, rain or shine, at the Ephraim Moravian Cemetery.

This is the third cemetery walk produced by the Ephraim Historical Foundation and Ephraim Moravian Church and will feature five new Ephraim legends. Jacob Smith (played by Dave Olson), Hedvig Ohman Goodlet (Marilyn Cushing), Anna Elise Marie Anderson (Norma Hager), and Laurel and Floyd Knudson (Shelley and John Cox) will tell their stories one more time in this living history remembrance. Observers may bring a chair if they wish. This is a free event open to the pubic, although donations are welcome.

The Ephraim Moravian Cemetery is located at the corner of Willow and Norway streets, east of the church grounds. Parking and shuttles are available at the Ephraim Moravian Church, Bethany Lutheran Church, and behind the Ephraim fire station on Norway Street.

In the event of inclement weather, “Dearly Departed” will be held at the Ephraim Moravian Church. For more information call 920.854.9688 or visit ephraim.org/ephraim-moravian-cemetery-walk.
