“Death’s Door Café” to Benefit Kids Kingdom Theatre and Southern Door Community Auditorium

Death’s Door Café hits the stage at the Southern Door Community Auditorium on Nov. 23 at 7 pm.

Written by playwright Erin Hunsader of New York, Death’s Door Café tells the story of Big Papa, the owner of the café. He isn’t your typical restaurateur, however, his employees all seem to want him dead.

With audience participation, Death’s Door Café offers an evening of laughter while raising money for The Kids Kingdom Theatre, the children’s theater at Prince of Peace Church in Sturgeon Bay. Local talent in the cast includes: Mary Maloney-Innes, Dave and Mike Peters, Patrick Floyd, Carrie Counihan, Pastor Nathan Lewis, Deanna Downey, Carrie Hill, Paulette Floyd, Laura Wotacheck and Dave Linz.

The show, which was performed at various local venues last summer, has already raised $1,800 for the Kids Kingdom Theatre. Proceeds from the Southern Door performance will go toward the children’s theater and the auditorium.

Tickets cost $10. For more information or to reserve your tickets call 920.493.5979 or visit southerndoorauditorium.org.
