Debate Pared Down to One Night, 10 Candidates

It’s still too many people on one stage for a real debate, but 10 Democrats who want to be president of the United States will meet for one night in Houston on Sept. 12, 7-10 pm. The debate will be broadcast on ABC and Univision, and the moderators will be George Stephanopoulos, David Muir, Linsey Davis and Jorge Ramos.

The accompanying graphic shows who is left in the race. It will be the first time when two of the top-polling candidates – Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Vice President Joe Biden – have faced each other. Each candidate will be allowed an opening statement, and each will have 75 seconds to respond to questions and 45 seconds for responses and rebuttals.
