Deck Sealing Closes Bridges

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing “deck sealing” operations are scheduled to take place on the Maple/Oregon Street Bridge and the Michigan Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay. Only one bridge at a time will be closed. Wind direction and rain could affect closure days.

The tentative closure schedule is:

Aug. 4: Maple/Oregon Street Bridge,6 am- Noon

Aug. 5: Michigan Street Bridge, 6 am – Noon

In case of unfavorable weather on the 4 or 5, the work will be pushed to Aug. 6

In case of unfavorable weather on the 4, 5, 6, work will be pushed to Aug. 11 and 12.
