Democratic Party Seeks Feedback on Delegate Selection

In preparation for the 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin seeks feedback from the public about its proposed 2020 Delegate Selection Plan. According to the Democratic National Committee’s rules, the plan and the opportunity to provide public comment will be available for 30 days, beginning March 22, at wisdems.org/2020delegates. In addition to voting for the party’s presidential and vice presidential nominee, convention delegates may vote on the party’s platform, resolutions and governing rules. Wisconsin will select 90 delegates and six alternates for the 2020 convention. Any qualified Wisconsin elector who subscribes to the beliefs of the Democratic Party is eligible to run for a spot as a convention delegate in Milwaukee.
