Dentistry by Design Team Helps at Mission of Mercy

Dentistry by Design had 10 team members travel to Fond du Lac on June 12 to help at the seventh Mission of Mercy. The large-scale charitable dental clinic provided more than $1 million in free dental care to children and adults during 1,428 patient visits on June 12 & 13 at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center.

More than 110 organizations and individuals contributed $183,000 in tax-deductible financial and in-kind donations to help cover costs associated with dental equipment and facility rental, supplies, pharmaceuticals and food for volunteers and patients.

“This was my third year volunteering for Mission of Mercy. Participating in this event is such a rewarding experience. It’s also great to see so many dental professionals come together and put their talents to work for the greater good,” stated Sue Bosman, dental assistant at Dentistry by Design.
