Department of Transportation Seeks Public Input on Connect 2050 Plan

As the Wisconsin Department of Transportation develops its new 30-year transportation plan, Connect 2050, it’s seeking input from the public to help shape the future of transportation in the state.

The Connect 2050 project team has created a survey, which can be taken through September at Connect2050Survey.com. Participants are asked to prioritize and comment on the key areas of economic vitality, safety and security, quality of life and natural environment, system integration and connectivity, system management, and funding and project costs.

As a framework for making decisions about the state’s transportation system, Connect 2050 involves all types of transportation – from roads to ports to sidewalks – throughout Wisconsin for the next 30 years.
