Design to Give Back

Jewelry designer Sophia Forero’s mantra is “feel beautiful,” and now she’s spreading that message to Egg Harbor’s Patricia Shoppe with a commemorative Cherry Blossom pendant exclusively available at the beloved Door County boutique.

Forero and her husband handcrafted this silver piece to give homage to Door County, a place that has created lasting memories for the artist couple and their children.

“We are delighted to create pieces that give back to the community,” states Forero. “The most important part of making our clients feel beautiful is that the piece itself is part of a bigger picture of giving.”

The necklace will sell for $130, and 20% of sales will go back to Write On, Door County. Write On, Door County’s message of connecting the arts with nature was a perfect fit with Sophia’s jewelry.

Patricia Shoppe was really excited when they contacted Write On about this project to find out that they have a matching grant right now that all donations from this sale will be doubled.

Forero herself will be attending a trunk show with Patricia Shoppe July 25 – 27. A limited amount will be available that weekend, and the artist will be taking orders for shipment.
