Destination Door County Initiates Leave No Trace Tuesday

Destination Door County (DDC) has created Leave No Trace Tuesday: a new community initiative and mixer that will take place monthly on the second Tuesday. That’s when DDC staff and interested community members will tackle service projects throughout the county.

The inaugural event is set for May 11, 5:30-7:30 pm, at Sunset Park in Sturgeon Bay, where volunteers will pick up trash and mulch beds. Meet at the park shelter to learn about and sign the Door County Pledge, grab a snack and do some community-service work while socializing with others. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided.
