Destroyers Make Playoffs, Will Face Top-seeded Team

The Door County Destroyers football team traveled to Wauwatosa Aug. 11 for their final regular season game against the Milwaukee County Chargers. The Destroyers scored early and often on their way to a 34-14 victory. With a 4-5 record, the Destroyers secured the final playoff spot and will play the Wisconsin Hitmen Aug. 25, 7 pm at Whitnall Field, 5000 S 116th St., Greenfield.

The Hitmen finished the regular season with a 7-2 record and as the top seed in the Mid-States Football League North Division. For more information find the Door County Destroyers on Facebook.
