Dickinson Poetry Series Features Annette Langlois Grunseth

On Jan. 10 at 7 pm, Annette Langlois Grunseth, of Green Bay, will be featured at the UUFDC’s Dickinson Poetry Series.

Grunseth has been a member of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets since 1988 where she has been published and received awards. She is retired from a career in healthcare marketing and public relations. Her poems have been recognized in Wisconsin Academy Review and Wisconsin People & Ideas with honorable mention awards. Her poetry has been published or performed from Nova Scotia to Portland, Ore. Her chapbook Becoming Trans-Parent: One Family’s Journey of Gender Transition (Finishing Line Press, 2017) was nominated for a Pushcart Poetry Prize and The Society of Midland Authors poetry award.

On the second Wednesday of every month the Dickinson Poetry Series features a local or regional poet followed by an open mic and reception to meet the poets. The series is named for Emily Dickinson, a prolific poet and philosophically in tune with Unitarian beliefs. The public is welcome and there is no charge.
