Dictionaries for All Door County Third Graders

Each third grader in Door County now has a dictionary of his or her own thanks to an annual reference book distribution by the Sturgeon Bay Breakfast Rotary Club. “We are delighted to continue this tradition. The children’s excitement is a real high point for the Club,” said President Robert Hays. Hays visited the Washington Island school to hand out dictionaries to Ms. Kickbush’s class. In Sturgeon Bay, club members Ann Smejkal and Mark Lake assisted Dictionary Project chairmen George Draeb and Greg Dietz with deliveries to all the third grade classrooms.
