Join Door County favorites Dirty Deuce for a rockin’ good time at Carrington Pub’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. 8 pm.

Saturday, March 18

Catch a special screening of the 2017 film Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens and Luke Evans, at Sturgeon Bay Cinema during a special fundraiser for the United Way of Door County. A $10 ticket gets you admission, a small soda and popcorn. 10 am.

The History of Palmer Johnson

Join present Mike Kelsey Jr., who spent his entire life in the Palmer Johnson boatyard, as he offers a historical presentation during this weekend’s Door County Historical Society winter luncheon. Following Mike’s presentation, Mike and Pat Madden will showcase toolboxes of early boatbuilders. 11 am.

Join Los Angeles comedian Rick Wood for an evening of laughs at the Holiday Music Motel’s Tambourine Lounge on Saturday. Rick weaves painfully funny stories about growing up in a white trash area of town with incisive observations about modern culture and the absurd human behaviors that have somehow over time become accepted as normal. 8 pm.
