Dogs and Human Counterparts Invited to Bark for Life

Dogs and their owners will walk to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer on April 26 as part of the Bark for Life fundraiser.

Bark For Life is a 1.47-mile noncompetitive walk on a preplanned route. Registration begins at the Animal Clinic of Sturgeon Bay at 10 am and the walk begins at 11 am. Dogs and their owners can enjoy music, food, a silent auction and a bake sale throughout the event.

“Bark For Life is a great opportunity to involve those four-legged family members in the fight against cancer,” said Jen DeBroux, director of Bark For Life in Door County. “It gives us the chance to honor survivors, remember those lost and those who are still fighting, whether they are friends, family, or pets.”
