Donald and Carol Kress Announce $1 Million Match Challenge for New Egg Harbor Library

The Campaign Leadership Team of the Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion, the new library and community center project in Egg Harbor, is proud to announce the nearing of their fundraising goal. A $1 million match challenge put forth by Donald and Carol Kress was accepted by the Village of Egg Harbor at the Village Board meeting on Nov. 7. Furthermore, an anonymous donor has come forward and pledged an additional $1 million bringing the total funds raised to more than $5 million.

“The Campaign Leadership Team of the Donald & Carol Kress Pavilion would like to express our sincerest appreciation to the Kress family, the Village of Egg Harbor and the anonymous donor,” said Judy Ortiz, a member of the Leadership Team. “With their support, we are nearing our goal and with the community’s generosity we will be able to break ground in 2017.”

The Leadership Team is now asking for the help of the community. In order to complete this project in 2017 a final $1 million is needed. To make a donation visit KressPavilion.org.
