Donate to Coats for Kids

The Door County Salvation Army and Feed/Clothe My People are teaming up for the 2014 Coats for Kids campaign which runs now through Nov. 2. There are various drop-off sites around Door County to donate gently used coats. The primary emphasis is on children’s coats but adult coats will be accepted. Coats that are worn out or in need of significant repair cannot be accepted. Monetary donations are also needed to buy cold weather accessories (hats, gloves, snowpants). These can be sent to The Salvation Army C/O Tom Mulinix, 509 W. Walnut Drive, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235. Drop off sites include: De Jardin Cleaners, Evenson Laundry and Dry Cleaning, Tip-Top Laundry and Dry Cleaners, Bley’s Grocery and Bhirdo’s (Shell).
