Donations Sought for Family Centers Children’s Christmas Stores

Donations are needed for the Children’s Christmas Stores, hosted by the Family Centers of Door County. Held at four locations, the stores allow children (4 – 12 years) to shop and wrap gifts for family members. All items are new and priced from 50 cents to $15.

Monetary donations are accepted, but the group also asks for new items, particularly for men and teens. Donations are accepted at Thrivent Financial in Sturgeon Bay, Baylake Bank in Egg Harbor, and Cupcake Heaven in Sister Bay on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am – 4 pm.

Dates and locations of the stores are: Nov. 23, 11 am – 1:30 pm at St. Joseph Church in Sturgeon Bay; Nov. 30, 12 – 2 pm at the Bertschinger Community Center in Egg Harbor; Dec. 7, 1 – 3 pm at Ephraim Village Hall; and Dec. 14, 8:30 – 11 am at the old Family Centers office (1400 County DK) in Brussels.
