Donna Brown to Exhibit

Watercolorist and printmaker Donna Brown will display her works at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County (UUFDC) Gallery at their new location in Ephraim this July.

Brown has had a life-long love of art, but wondered if she could make a living at what she enjoyed. For that reason, she expressed her creativity through weaving, feeling the product had more practical use. However, she longed for the immediacy of drawings, so returned to earlier medium. More recently Brown has taken up printmaking.

Brown manages the White Barn Gallery just off Hwy. 57, north of Baileys Harbor, and also occasionally teaches at the Peninsula Art School in Fish Creek.

The UU Gallery is located at 10341 Hwy. 42, Ephraim, and welcomes the public following Sunday morning services and Mondays 1 – 3 pm. If you have an interest in displaying art at the gallery, contact Julia Bresnahan at 920.839.2606.
