Door and Kewaunee Counties Water Data Report Shared at Crossroads

On Sept. 19, a program sponsored by the Door County League of Women Voters will highlight water quality data collected in recent years in Door and Kewaunee Counties. The program begins at 6 pm at Crossroads at Big Creek, located at 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.

Peter Sigmann, a member of Door Property Owners and the League of Women Voters, will present lake and well water data collected from Little Sturgeon during a 12-year period. Members of Door Property Owners have volunteered their time to collect and log data.

In addition, two members of Kewaunee Cares will share information gleaned from their stream and well measurements. Kewaunee County has an evolving groundwater situation that could affect Door County. For more information call Barb Graul at 920.743.6842.
