Door Community Auditorium Hosts The Lone Bellow

On Dec. 4, 7 pm, Brooklyn indie-folk trio The Lone Bellow will take the stage at Door Community Auditorium (DCA) in Fish Creek.

The Lone Bellow sings what they call “Brooklyn country music:” beautiful, sincere, exquisitely harmonized folk-pop songs. With their belting, soulful voices, any of the three members of The Lone Bellow (Zach Williams, Kanene Donehey Pipkin, and Brian Elmquist) would make a formidable solo act.

Acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin and plenty of foot stomping form a roiling undercurrent for The Lone Bellow’s earnest, tempestuous and ecstatic songs. The band does not rely on musical smoke and mirrors, just soaring, heartfelt vocal performances.

Robert Ellis

Opening the show is “Texas Piano Man” Robert Ellis. Ellis’s songwriting ability is equal to his encyclopedic knowledge of the true songwriting greats, and it shines through in the young troubadour’s music.

Tickets range from $25 to $48. Advance reservations are recommended and can be made through the DCA box office, located at 3926 Hwy 42 in Fish Creek, by calling 920.868.2728, or online at dcauditorium.org.
