Door Community Auditorium of Fish Creek Presents Lynn Gudmundsen

A long-time musical favorite in Door County, violinist Lynn Gudmundsen will kick off the 2011 Fireside Coffeehouse Concert Series at the Door Community Auditorium. “With a little help from her friends,” Lynn will be performing on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 7 pm in the fireside lobby.

No stranger to Door County audiences, Gudmundsen is frequently seen backing up many of Door County’s favorite artists. This is her turn to step into the spotlight and perform amongst several of her talented friends. An accomplished violinist and fiddler in her own right, she performs numerous genres on her instruments – from classical to bluegrass.

Besides playing several solo and group gigs at numerous venues throughout the year, Gudmundsen is also very involved with the Door County Bluegrass Camp in the summers.

All beginning at 7 pm, upcoming Fireside Coffeehouse Concerts will include guitarist Mojo Perry on Saturday, Jan. 29 and singers/songwriter Jess Holland on Feb. 12. On Saturday, Feb. 19, the Fairland Bluegrass Band will perform, celebrating the release of their new CD. Mark Paffrath will conclude the series on Saturday, March 5.

The Door Community Auditorium is located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The series is sponsored by The Cordon Family Foundation. Ecology Sports Base Camp will provide refreshments for purchase. Tickets are sold as general admission for $14.
