Door Concert, Inc. Features International Chamber Soloists

Door Concert, Inc. will present famed violinist Dmitri Berlinsky leading 12 string soloists as part of their current concert series. The performance will take place at the United Methodist Church in Sturgeon Bay on Nov. 14, beginning at 7:30 pm.

International Chamber Soloists is a unique group of extraordinary young string players from all over the world. There are musicians from Russia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Latvia, Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil and the U.S. What brings them together is love and dedication to music.

It all started when prominent violinist Dmitri Berlinsky moved from Russia to New York as a winner of Young Concert Artists and several other important international competitions. Since then he has been performing as a soloist with major American, European and Asian orchestras. It was his dream to find an environment to establish a chamber orchestra where his colleague-friends could find the joy of playing together. Finally it happened when he was invited to join the faculty of Michigan State University and was encouraged to invite exceptional talents from different countries to build this outstanding ensemble.
