Door County Activities: Baylake Sponsors Travel and Spring Programs

Heading into spring, Baylake Bank Premier Club is sponsoring a number of informational programs on a variety of topics including, a Travel Show, Spring Decorating Program and spring blooming ideas. These programs are open to the public; however, registration is appreciated. Refreshments will be served and door prizes given away.

The Travel Show and Spring Decorating programs will be held at Baylake Bank Conference Center, 222 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 1:30 – 3 pm.

For the Travel Show, Joyce Ohrmundt, Group Sales Director from Nationwide Travelers, will be there to share information, as well as answer questions, of the shows and sites guests will be visiting.

Bette Sternard, presenter for the “Spring Decorating” program, is Manager of Maas Floral & Greenhouse and has 34 years experience as well as an associate degree in horticulture marketing. Bette will give guests new ideas on Decorating for Spring.

Then on April 1 from 9:45 – 10:45 am, the Door County YMCA is co-sponsoring a program on Spring Blooming Ideas, which will be held at the Door County YMCA, 1900 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.

Tom Blahnik, presenter for this program, is owner of Sturgeon Bay Florist and has been in the floral business for over 30 years. Tom will be giving guests new Spring Blooming ideas for 2009.
