Door County Adventure Center Offers Camp Confidence Sessions

This summer Door County Adventure Center will offer two sessions of Camp Confidence, which focuses on self-esteem enhancement, leadership development, problem-solving and building communication skills. Session I, for youth ages 12-16, is an overnight experience from July 10-13 and includes experiences like biking, hiking, zip lining and stand up paddle boarding. Session II, for youth ages 8-11, is a day camp, taking place from 8 am – 12 pm on July 17-20.

Another exciting camp opportunity offered by Door County Adventure Center this season is an overnight camp for siblings of people with special needs between ages 8-16. SIB Camp is in collaboration with WisconSIB and offers an opportunity to kick back, experience the freedom and thrill of adventure, and share a great time with peers who truly understand the ups and downs of life with siblings having special needs. Activities include hiking, biking, swimming, paddling, zip lining and more. Session I, for youth ages 8-11, takes place Aug. 5-8. Session II, for youth ages 12-16, takes place Aug. 10-13.
