Door County Antique Show Set For July 23 – 25

Thursday, July 23 marks the beginning of the 35th annual Door County Antiques Show, hosted by the Sister Bay Lions Club. The show runs through Saturday, July 25 from 10 am – 5 pm at the Gibraltar High.

The event raises money and awareness for the “Leader Dog for the Blind” Program. Door County puppies are trained here for one year and then sent to Michigan to complete their training to assist the visually handicapped. Maggie Weir directs the program in Door County, she has arranged for some leader dogs and their handlers to be on site during the show to answer any questions regarding the program.

This show features 35 professional exhibitors from all over the Midwest. Collectors will find exceptional furniture, art glass, clocks, quilts, china, sterling silver, unusual pottery and stoneware, folk art, copper and brass items, and much more.

Admission to the show is $5 for ages 15 and over, with the admission good for all three days of the show. For more information, call 715.355.5144.
