Door County Art News: Wisconsin Great Lakes Photo, Writing Contest

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Great Lakes Office is holding their first “Discover Wisconsin’s Great Lakes” photo contest. The DNR is asking everyone to send in their best photos of Lake Michigan or Lake Superior by February 1, 2009. Winning photos will be used in the 2009-2010 WI DNR Great Lakes calendar.

Also, for those whose talent isn’t photography, Great Lakes writings – statements, short essays, poems, or songs – are also requested for publications, websites, and displays. For more information, visit the Great Lakes Office Web site or call Jo Temte at 608.267.0555.
