Door County Art Scene: Hand Crafted Gifts at the Craft Cottage

The Jacksonport Craft Cottage features many beautifully-made items for holiday gift giving hand crafted by local artists. Special features this month include rosemaled gifts created by Joan Pahl.

Pahl has been rosemaling for many years. She enjoys creating rosemaled designs on wooden items such as recipe boxes, clocks, small trunks, plates, cedar chests, jewelry boxes and small unusual collector boxes.

During the winter, the Jacksonport Craft Cottage, located on Highway 57 in downtown Jacksonport, is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 5 pm or call 920.823.2288 for an appointment. The Jacksonport Craft Cottage will have special holiday hours and will be open daily from December 26 through New Year’s Day.
