Door County Arts and Galleries – Vietnam War Era Photo Show

Peter Boice, Vietnam army photo-journalist and long time Door County resident, opens his one man show “A Brief Intense Love Affair with Photography, Vietnam and Wisconsin” at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship hall in Ephraim with a special reception on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Presenting a unique contrast of images and events occurring in Vietnam and at home in Wisconsin during the turbulent late years of the Vietnam War, Boice unveils this body of work for its first public viewing. Boice learned to use the camera “under fire” so to speak, as previous to the army he had never handled a 35 mm camera. The show will hang through the month of September.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is located in Ephraim at 10341 Water St. (Highway 42).
