Door County Bar Association Donates $1,000 to Legal Aid Society

The Door County Bar Association made a gift of $1,000 to the Legal Aid Society of Door County, Inc. The Door County Bar Association is a voluntary organization of local attorneys. The group meets throughout the year to discuss developments in the law and the legal system, particularly as they apply to our community. Membership includes educational opportunities. Many bar members serve as volunteer attorneys for the Legal Aid Society of Door County.

The Legal Aid Society of Door County is a nonprofit corporation organized in 1989 to provide access to the legal system for low-income families and individuals. In addition to volunteer attorneys, the Legal Aid Society relies on donations to fulfill their mission. Legal Aid receives partial funding from United Way of Door County and the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation, Inc.
