Door County Beer Fest: Food Highlights

The Door County Beer Fest isn’t just about the suds. Food is featured, too, and not just your average hot-dog-stand fare. You’ll find delicious eats from some of Door County’s esteemed chefs, including Jesse Johnson of Door County Creamery, Mike Holmes of Wickman House, Brit Unkefer of Wild Tomato, and Karl Bradley and Tonda Gagliardo from Thyme Cuisine. Plus, check out the delicious, snackable varieties of kettle corn from the one and only Door County Kettle Corn.

Food features may change, but the roster currently includes cheeseburgers, gyros and the famous layered chèvre torte from Door County Creamery; indulge in oysters and beer-cheese nachos with made-in-house kimchi from Wickman House; and Thyme Cuisine is featuring everyone’s favorites: cheeseburger sliders and cheese curds. Plus, you’ll get a preview of the new restaurant coming soon from Wild Restaurant Concepts, serving up Chinese BBQ port, grilled red shrimp, and charred broccoli.
