Door County Beer Fest Releases Event Details

Door County’s largest craft beer event of the year, the Door County Beer Festival, has released VIP and music details for the June 17, 2017 event. VIP attendees can take their experience to another level with the new VIP Lounge in 2017.

VIP attendees will enjoy exclusive access to the VIP lounge, with seating and private restrooms, plus VIP-only tastings of specialty brews from Door County Brewing Co. and four other craft brewers. These beers will not be available in the general tasting tent. The VIP lounge opens one hour before the tasting tent, and VIP attendees will also be admitted to the general tasting tent 30 minutes early for unfettered access to their favorite beers. Only 100 VIP tickets will be sold.

All festival attendees will have access to unlimited tastings of more than 150 beers from more than 50 Midwest craft breweries from 12 to 4 pm.

Fest-goers will enjoy the sounds of two great bands all afternoon at Brann Field in Baileys Harbor. First up is Evan Murdock and the Imperfect Strangers, followed by the Cajun Strangers.

Local restaurants will offer street-food style meals highlighting local ingredients on the festival grounds. This year’s restaurant lineup includes Door County Creamery, Chives, Whistling Swan, and The Fireside.

The festival is held in conjunction with the 29th annual Peninsula Century Spring Classic bicycle ride, which starts and finishes on the grounds of the festival and includes beautiful routes of 25, 50, 62 and 100 miles.
