Door County Brewing Co.’s Big Sister Witbier Returns in May

For its second season, Door County Brewing Company’s Big Sister Witbier returns this May. A popular summer favorite in Wisconsin following its release in 2015, Big Sister extends over state lines. Distribution expands to Minnesota this year to satisfy its growing demand.

Big Sister bottle “Big Sister is one of my favorites to brew every year because I get to use some relatively unconventional ingredients,” said Head Brewer Danny McMahon. “I’m a big fan of the unique color and flavor the hibiscus contributes to the beer.”

Brewed with hibiscus flowers and Door County Brewing Company’s Belgian yeast strain, Big Sister pours pink and has a tart, juicy flavor with a slightly spicy note. It hits craft beer venues May 1 and is available through September.
