Door County Bridge Club Begins Fourth Season

The Door County Bridge Club announces the beginning of its fourth season of duplicate bridge on June 4. Sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL), duplicate bridge games will be held every Tuesday at 12 pm and every Friday at 9 am from the beginning of June through the end of September.

The club meets at the Stella Maris Catholic Church, 7710 Highway 42 in Egg Harbor, for tournament style duplicate contract bridge. Operated by ACBL-sanctioned Certified Director Barbara Piester, eligible players receive masterpoints. Special games are planned throughout this summer, which will allow players to earn additional points as well as red points.

Players are encouraged to come with a partner; prior reservations are not required. Solo players should contact Piester at 920.868.1954 prior to play to arrange for a partner.

Cost to play is $7 to $8 per player. The game will be scored as it is played with results available immediately following the game and also online at acbl.org. For more information, email the club at [email protected].
