Door County Children and Youth Community Drama Perform

The Door County Children and Youth Community Drama, along with the Illinois Leap of Faith Players, will perform Winnie-the Pooh July 30 and 31 at 7 pm. The performances will take place at Calvary United Methodist Church in Egg Harbor.

It has been a dream of Claudia Barnick, former Peninsula Player actress, to give community children and youth an opportunity to try acting in a supportive environment that builds understanding and community. Barnick began making that dream a reality in her hometown of Homewook, Illinois, forming the Leap of Faith Players Actor’s Academy.

Taking the Leap of Faith Players on the road to Door County, to act and participate with other youth, she gives the troupe an enriching experience, building bridges of understanding with people of a different community.

The performance is free and open to the public, though a free will offering will be received to support Leap of Faith Players and the Northern Door Children’s Center’s scholarship program. The church is located at 7914 Highway 42, just south of Village Café in Egg Harbor.
