Door County Coffee Celebrates 20 Years with Annual Anniversary Sale

“In the beginning it was about a dream for me and my family to find a way live in Door County. Then it was about roasting the best tasting coffee on the market for our customers,” said president and founder Vicki Wilson (pictured).

Stephanie Klett, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, visited Door County Coffee & Tea Co. on Sept. 25 to commend them on their 20th year in business.

“In the beginning it was about a dream for me and my family to find a way live in Door County. Then it was about roasting the best tasting coffee on the market for our customers,” said president and founder Vicki Wilson. “This isn’t my story anymore…it’s the story of the 40 wonderful people who work here. It’s about their work ethic and belief in the product. One of the most rewarding things about being a business owner is watching people grow. Giving them an opportunity and watching them take it and run with it. ”

To celebrate this milestone, Door County Coffee will hold their annual anniversary sale in the Door County Coffee Café from Sept. 27 – 29. Customers can enjoy one pound of coffee free for every two they purchase, free coffee sampling and daily door prizes, as well as the premiere of a limited edition anniversary blend.
