Door County Community Foundation’s Lobby Gallery Highlights Photography

The Door County Community Foundation’s Lobby Gallery will feature the photographic works of David Graham and Terri Warpinski, with a reception planned for Jan. 27, 4:30-6 pm.

Graham’s subject is the American cultural landscape. He taught at the University of Arts for 22 years and has worked regularly for Newsweek, Time, Fortune, Forbes and the New York Times Magazine. His photographs reside in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among others.

Warpinski explores the complex relationships among personal, cultural and natural histories through her photographically based mixed-media work. During the past four decades, her projects have taken her to the American West, Mexico, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Iceland. Warpinski was a Fulbright senior fellow in Israel in 2000-01 and became a professor emerita of art in 2016 after a 32-year teaching career at the University of Oregon.
