Door County Dental Care Holds Free Mouthguard Day

Door County Dental Care, located in Sturgeon Bay, is hosting their eighth annual Free Mouthguard Day on June 16. All area student athletes are invited to receive a free custom-fit, team color-coordinated mouthguard. Mouthguards help prevent dental and facial injuries during sports or other contact activities. As students grow and their bodies change, their mouth structure also changes. It is recommended that a new, custom-fit mouthguard be crafted each year.

Door County Dental Care’s resident dentists Dr. Regan Luders and Dr. Tyler Hubbard are excited to offer preventative care and give back to the Door County community where they both reside with their families.

Dr. Hubbard said, “Our mouthguard program continues to grow every year. Being able to provide students with free, high quality mouthguards that are comfortable enough to wear is the goal. The mouthguard products sold in retail stores don’t compare to what we’re able to offer.”

Students must have an appointment and be accompanied by an adult to participate. For more information or to make an appointment, call 920.743.6911. Door County Dental Care is located at 30 N 18th Ave # 2B in Sturgeon Bay.
