Door County Destroyers Fall in MSFL Championship

On Oct. 1, the Door County Destroyers traveled to Wauwatosa to take on the Lincoln-Way Patriots for the 2016 Mid-States Football League (MSFL) Championship. Both teams shared the same goal: to win their first ever MSFL Championship. The Patriots achieved that goal and had an impressive 31-0 win over the Destroyers.

Lincoln-Way came into the game with a perfect 11-0 record in league play. The Destroyers came to the game having faced adversity throughout the season, losing three league games, but turning it on late to win the games that counted.
